The Stallions would like to thank everyone who joined us last evening for the screening of "In Search of Greatness" and the panel discussion immediately following. Our panel of five hockey experts answered questions from the audience about:

• The development of youth hockey players in an urban environment like Chicago
• The importance of creativity and passion in developing a player.
• The value in providing unstructured play time for our kids in a world where that is becoming increasingly scarce, and
• How parents can best support their players (otherwise known as leave the coaching to the coaches)

The Stallions would also like to thank our all star panel for their time yesterday evening:

• Dan Jablonic (USA Hockey) - A former college player at University of Minnesota Duluth, Dan played professional hockey in the ECHL and finished his playing career in Sweden, where he then began coaching. Dan has coached players at all levels of the game and is a leading expert on youth training and development. 
• Anderson Ottosson & Ulf Hall (Swedish Hockey Federation) - Visiting the US from Sweden, both Ottosson & Ulf have coached at the highest level of Swedish hockey, and are currently coaching top girls hockey teams in Sweden.
• Guy Gosselin (USA Hockey) - A two-time US Olympian and member of three US National Teams, Guy played in the NHL, AHL, IHL and on the Swedish Professional team. Gosselin recently coached the US Paralympic Sled Hockey Team to a gold medal in Pyeonchang, Korea.
• Mark Switaj (Chicago Stallions) - A former Captain of the Boston College hockey team, Mark has 25 years of experience coaching and and developing players. Switaj is the Stallions skating development coach and is known for his tough but fair approach with his players.
